Health Walks 

 

Delivered by Countryside Management Service

Health Walks are an ideal form of exercise they’re suitable for all ages and abilities, local, short and free. Led by volunteer walk leaders, you can meet new people and keep fit whilst enjoying the wonderful green spaces and countryside around Watford. The walks are suitable for all ages and are all free of charge. Register online or arrive 10 minutes early to complete a registration form.

When: Every Wednesday

Time: 10.30am (Fast paced Walk- Grade 3) or 11am (easy/moderate- Grade 1 and 2 walks)

Where: The Cha Cafe, Cassiobury Park,  WD18 7HY

 

When: Every Thursday

Time: 1pm (brisk 30 minute walk, Grade 1)

Where: Holywell Community Centre, Chaffinch lane, off Tolpits Lane, WD18 9QD

 

When: Monthly Thursdays, ‘Taster Walks’  9 Aug, 6 Sep

Time 7pm (brisk 45 minute walk, grade 2)

Where: Cassiobury Park car park, Cassiobury Park Avenue, WD18 7LB

 

When: Every Friday

Time: 11am (gentle 30 minute walk – First Steps)

Where: Woodside Leisure Centre, Horseshoe Lane, WD25 7HH

 

When: Sunday ‘taster walks’ - 19 Aug, 9 Sep

Time: 2pm (moderate 1 hour walk – Grade 3)

Where: Holywell Community Centre, Chaffinch lane, off Tolpits Lane, WD18 9QD
